Yala Peak Climbing

Yala Peak is situated in the north of Kathmandu in Langtang Himalayan Range near the Tibetan border at the elevation of 5732m. It has unparallel natural beauty with combination of cultural riches. Langtang region has over seventy glaciers of different sizes, the Langtang and Ganesh Himal mountain ranges, and high altitude lakes including Gosainkunda, Parvatikunda, Bhairavkunda, and Dudhkunda. The Tibetan origin Tamang community are the dominant class of the area. Their culture goes back to hundreds of years. The traditionally built stone houses, beautifully carved wooden porches, their unique dress and the craftsmanship reflect their rich Himalayan heritage. Yala Peak is one of the lowest and easiest trekking peaks in Nepal. Well, we will begin our trek from Syabrubesi. We the follow the trekking route of Langtang valley and Kyanjin Gompa. After passing Kyangin Gompa, we then turn north to see Yala Peak. Sure, you will have great time in the summit. Yala Peak offers you a spectacular view of Langtang Lirung, Langsisha Ri, Gangchepo, Dorche Pakpa and many more mountain ranges from Nepal and Tibet.
